Terms of use
Last updated October 6, 2026.
These terms apply when you use rolefig.com and its free tools, templates, API, CLI and MCP server. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
Information, not legal advice
rolefig’s tools, templates, checks and examples, including the offer letter and pay plan templates, give general information to help you get started. They aren’t legal, tax or employment advice, and using them doesn’t create a lawyer–client or any other professional relationship. Laws differ by place and change often, and a template may not fit your situation. You’re responsible for the documents you use and the decisions you make. Use your own contract, or have a qualified lawyer review a document before anyone signs it.
Provided as is
We do our best to keep rolefig accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, rolefig and the people who run it aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of rolefig or of any document, template or result it produces. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid rolefig for the service in question, if any. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.
Your content and conduct
You’re responsible for what you enter and publish, and for having the right to use it. Don’t use rolefig to break the law, mislead candidates or employers, or harm the service or other people. AI-assisted steps can make mistakes, so check every value before you rely on it.
Privacy
How we handle information is described on the privacy page.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use rolefig after a change means you accept the updated terms.
