Your information.
Your choice.
Optional usage measurement
When you allow analytics, rolefig sends named page and action events to our existing PostHog analytics service. We collect an anonymous browser identifier, page category, approved campaign tags and step numbers. The identifier expires after 90 days. We don’t collect your resume, contact details, answers, recordings, search text or screen contents in analytics.
Necessary only keeps analytics off. We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Your choice is stored for six months, and you can change it below. Previously collected events aren’t removed by withdrawing consent; new collection stops.
Applications and company websites
Published jobs may link to an employer’s application website. If you allow analytics here, we can pass an anonymous identifier and approved campaign tags to MeetAPX to understand the application journey. MeetAPX applies its own analytics choice before using them. Its application and privacy terms apply to information you submit there.
Free tools
The free tools run in your browser. When you choose an AI step, such as polishing a job post, shaping a résumé from your story or filling a job-posting form from a web page, only the text that step needs is sent to Google’s Gemini model on Google Cloud to produce a draft. The résumé tool never sends your name or contact details. rolefig doesn’t store what you type into the tools or the drafts they return. The Google for Jobs checker opens only the public page address you give it. Analytics record which tool was used, never what you typed.
Local previews
Your career profile and resume previews stay in this browser unless you choose an explicitly described AI writing or export action. Preview completion is measured separately from a real application. Analytics has no effect on hiring decisions.
